How to Configure WooCommerce Attribution
- 1
Verify requirements
WooCommerce attribution requires QRCode Suite Pro or higher and WooCommerce 6.0+. Confirm both plugins are active and your license is activated before proceeding.
- 2
Enable WooCommerce attribution
Go to QR Suite › Settings › WooCommerce in your WordPress admin. Toggle "Enable order attribution" to on. This tells QRCode Suite to listen for order completion events and match them to recent QR scans.
- 3
Configure the attribution window
Set the attribution window — the time between a QR scan and an order that counts as attributed. The default is 30 days. A customer who scans a product QR code and places an order within 30 days will have that order attributed to the scan.
- 4
Set the attribution model
Choose between first-touch attribution (the first QR scan in the window gets credit) and last-touch attribution (the most recent scan gets credit). First-touch is the default and is most useful for print campaigns.
- 5
Assign campaigns to QR codes
Open any QR code in QR Suite › QR Codes and expand the "WooCommerce" panel. Assign the QR to a campaign if you want to group multiple QR codes (e.g., all QR codes in a spring catalog) for aggregate revenue reporting.
- 6
View attribution data
In the QR code detail view, the analytics panel will now show an "Orders" section with attributed order count, total revenue, and average order value. Campaign-level summaries are available in QR Suite › Analytics › Campaigns.
Frequently asked questions
What WooCommerce features does QRCode Suite support?
QRCode Suite integrates with WooCommerce to generate product QR codes, enable scan-to-reorder flows, attribute QR scans to orders, track revenue by campaign, and generate coupon QR codes.
How does WooCommerce order attribution work?
When a customer scans a QR code and completes a purchase, QRCode Suite records a conversion event linking the scan to the order. You can see total revenue, average order value, and conversion rate per QR code in the analytics dashboard.
What is a scan-to-reorder QR code?
A scan-to-reorder QR code lets a customer who received a product add the same item to their cart instantly by scanning a code printed on the packaging, receipt, or product insert.
Does WooCommerce attribution require a specific plan?
WooCommerce order attribution is available on the Pro plan and above. The Free plan supports static and dynamic QR generation but does not include revenue attribution.
