Are QR codes free?

Yes. Generating a QR code is always free — the QR standard is an open specification and any encoder can produce a code at no cost. What you pay for is what happens after the scan: dynamic redirects (so you can edit destinations later), scan analytics, conversion attribution, bulk generation, and integrations. QRCode Suite's Free plan generates unlimited static codes; paid plans unlock the editable and trackable side.

    Static QR generation: always free

    Encoding a URL, vCard, Wi-Fi credential or any other data into a QR matrix is free. The QR specification is open and there is no license fee per code.

    Dynamic redirects: paid feature

    Dynamic QRs require a server to resolve the short URL. QRCode Suite includes 1 dynamic code on the Free plan; unlimited on Pro (€9/month) and above.

    Scan analytics: paid feature

    Counting scans, logging device/country, and showing a dashboard all require backend infrastructure. Included on every paid plan; 30-day retention on Free.

    WooCommerce attribution: paid feature

    Tying QR scans back to WooCommerce orders for revenue reporting is a Pro feature and above. Includes the 30-day attribution window.

    When the Free plan is enough

    If you just need to encode a stable URL or vCard once and print it — Free is enough. The moment you need to edit destinations or measure ROI, upgrade to Pro.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date.

What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?

Annual billing saves approximately 25% compared to paying monthly. Pro is €79/year vs €108/year monthly. Business is €149/year vs €204/year monthly.

Do you offer a refund?

Yes. QRCode Suite offers a 14-day refund on all paid plans if you are not satisfied.
