QR Codes for Business Cards — vCard, Link Hub, and Dynamic QR

QRCode Suite generates QR codes for business cards that go beyond a static URL. Use the vCard type to share contact details with a single scan, or use a dynamic URL QR code so you can update where the card points — portfolio, booking page, LinkedIn, or Link Hub — without printing new cards. All QR codes export as print-ready SVG and PNG from WordPress.

Business card QR codes are available on the Free plan. Dynamic redirects and Link Hub pages included.

vCard contact sharing

A vCard QR code lets recipients save your contact details with a single scan — name, phone, email, company, and website all added to their contacts automatically.

LinkedIn or social profile

Link the business card QR to your LinkedIn profile, portfolio, or social profile page. Update the destination if you move platforms without printing new cards.

Link Hub — multiple links in one QR

A Link Hub QR takes recipients to a mobile landing page with links to your portfolio, social profiles, booking page, and contact form — all on your own WordPress domain.

Portfolio or website

Direct contacts to your website, case studies, or product catalog. If your URL changes, update the QR destination in WordPress — the printed card still works.

Booking or appointment page

Link the business card QR to your booking page. Update the destination when you change your booking tool without reprinting a single card.

How it works

  1. 1

Create a vCard or dynamic URL QR code in QRCode Suite

For contact sharing, use the vCard type. For a link that can be updated later, use dynamic URL. Both types export as print-ready PNG and SVG.

  2. 2

Export as SVG for crisp printing at business card size

Business cards are small — use SVG export for true vector quality. The QR code will print cleanly at any size without pixelation.

  3. 3

Add to your business card design

Include the QR code in your card design. Allow adequate quiet zone (blank border) around the QR for reliable scanning.

  4. 4

    Print your cards

Send to your print supplier as normal. The QR code is permanent — it will scan correctly indefinitely.

  5. 5

Update the destination if contact details change

If your website URL, booking tool, or social profile changes, update the dynamic QR destination in WordPress. Existing printed cards continue to work.

Frequently asked questions

What is QRCode Suite?

QRCode Suite is a premium WordPress plugin that generates branded, dynamic QR codes directly inside your WordPress dashboard. Scan data is stored on your own server — not on a third-party SaaS platform — and WooCommerce orders can be attributed to specific QR codes.

Does QRCode Suite require a separate subscription?

The Free plan is available at no cost. Paid plans (Pro, Business, Agency) are licensed per WordPress site and billed monthly or annually. There is no separate per-scan fee.

What QR code types does QRCode Suite support?

QRCode Suite supports 15 QR code types: URL, vCard, Wi-Fi, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, PDF, Coupon, Plain Text, Social profile, WooCommerce Product, WooCommerce Reorder, Link Hub, Phone, and Dynamic URL.

Can I change the destination of a QR code after printing it?

Yes. Dynamic QR codes use a short redirect URL. You can update the destination from your WordPress dashboard at any time without generating or reprinting the code.

Is QRCode Suite GDPR-compliant?

Yes. QRCode Suite hashes IP addresses with SHA-256 before storage so no raw IPs are ever saved. It also filters bot traffic automatically and includes configurable data-retention settings.
