A/B testing for QR code destinations
A/B testing is included from the Pro plan. Very few QR platforms offer it at all.
Percentage-based traffic splits
Choose the split — 50/50 for a fair test or 90/10 to trial a risky page cautiously. The redirect engine assigns each scan to a variant at the moment it happens.
Per-variant analytics
Scans, devices, countries, and unique visitors are recorded per variant, so you compare like with like instead of guessing which page performed.
Test printed codes
The experiment lives in the redirect, not the image. Codes already printed on packaging, menus, flyers, or posters can enter a test — and leave it — at any time.
Promote the winner instantly
When a variant wins, set it as the single destination with one edit. The change applies to the next scan; nothing is regenerated or reprinted.
Combine with conditional redirects
Split tests work alongside geo, device, language, and schedule rules, so you can experiment within exactly the audience segment you care about.
Privacy-first by design
Variant assignment and analytics use the same keyed-hash model as the rest of the platform — no raw IP addresses, no cross-site tracking, and bot traffic excluded from variant counts.
Frequently asked questions
What analytics does QRCode Suite track?
QRCode Suite tracks scan count, unique scanners, device type, operating system, browser, country, city, referrer, and UTM parameters. Bot traffic is detected and excluded, and IP addresses are hashed before any event is written.
How long is analytics data retained?
Retention is set by your plan and enforced automatically: 30 days on Free, 12 months on Pro, 24 months on Business, and 36 months on Agency. Events older than the window are purged.
Does QRCode Suite integrate with Google Analytics?
Yes. GA4 integration is available on Pro and above. QR code scans are sent as GA4 events, enabling full funnel tracking from scan to conversion.
Does QRCode Suite support Meta Pixel?
Yes. Meta Pixel events are fired on scan for Pro and above plans, enabling retargeting audiences based on QR code interactions.
Where is my scan data stored?
Scan events are stored in QRCode Suite's own database, where they stay first-party: we never sell them, never share them with an ad network, and never enrich them with a third-party tracker. Nothing is forwarded to GA4, Meta Pixel or any other external platform unless you connect that integration yourself.
