Multilingual Link Hub: one QR, six languages

A multilingual Link Hub serves the right language to each visitor based on their phone settings — no manual selector needed. The same printed QR works for an English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese visitor. Setup takes 15 minutes and uses conditional redirects on the `Accept-Language` header.

  1. 1

Create six Link Hubs — one per language

QR Suite → Link Hubs → New. Create six Link Hubs with the same structure but translated content. Name them `bio-en`, `bio-fr`, `bio-es`, `bio-it`, `bio-de`, `bio-pt`. Each gets its own URL but shares the same overall layout.

  2. 2

Create the routing QR with conditional redirects

QR Suite → New QR → URL → Add conditional rules: if phone language is `fr`, redirect to `/bio-fr`; `de` → `/bio-de`; etc. Fallback to `/bio-en` when no rule matches.

  3. 3

Test with a phone language switch

Set your phone to French, scan the QR — you should land on `/bio-fr`. Switch to German, scan again — `/bio-de`. The conditional redirect runs server-side based on the `Accept-Language` HTTP header your phone sends.

  4. 4

Maintain the six hubs from a single source

Use the same Link Hub template across all six and only swap the text content. When you add a new link (e.g. a launch announcement), add it to all six. Most teams use a shared spreadsheet to track translations.

Frequently asked questions

What is QRCode Suite?

QRCode Suite is a premium WordPress plugin that generates branded, dynamic QR codes directly inside your WordPress dashboard. Scan data is stored on your own server — not on a third-party SaaS platform — and WooCommerce orders can be attributed to specific QR codes.

Does QRCode Suite require a separate subscription?

The Free plan is available at no cost. Paid plans (Pro, Business, Agency) are licensed per WordPress site and billed monthly or annually. There is no separate per-scan fee.

What QR code types does QRCode Suite support?

QRCode Suite supports 15 QR code types: URL, vCard, Wi-Fi, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, PDF, Coupon, Plain Text, Social profile, WooCommerce Product, WooCommerce Reorder, Link Hub, Phone, and Dynamic URL.

Can I change the destination of a QR code after printing it?

Yes. Dynamic QR codes use a short redirect URL. You can update the destination from your WordPress dashboard at any time without generating or reprinting the code.

Is QRCode Suite GDPR-compliant?

Yes. QRCode Suite hashes IP addresses with SHA-256 before storage so no raw IPs are ever saved. It also filters bot traffic automatically and includes configurable data-retention settings.
