PDF QR Code
A dynamic URL code pointing at your PDF works on every plan, including Free. Pro adds scheduling, scan caps, passwords and design controls.
You host the document, we host the redirect
QRCode Suite is not a file host. You supply the address of a PDF you already publish, and the code resolves to it. That keeps your document under your own access rules and your own retention policy.
Swap the file without reprinting
The printed matrix encodes a short redirect, not the PDF address. When the document is revised, change the destination in your dashboard and every card, poster and carton already in the field points at the new version.
Only http and https destinations
Destination addresses are checked against a scheme allow-list on save and again at scan time. Anything that is not http or https is rejected, so a stored address cannot be turned into a script or a local-file link.
Know how often the document is opened
A PDF sitting on a web server tells you nothing about who reached it from print. Routing through the redirect gives you scan counts, unique scanners, device, OS, country, city and referrer for each code.
UTM parameters carried through
Attach campaign, source, medium, content and term to the code and they are appended to the destination on every scan — so the document opens with attribution already attached for your own web analytics.
Time limits and scan caps
From Pro, a code can carry a start date, an end date and a maximum number of scans. A seasonal catalogue or a limited-run insert can stop resolving on its own schedule.
Password protection
Pro codes can sit behind a password, which is useful when the PDF is a dealer price list or an internal manual you would rather not have indexed or forwarded.
Print-ready output
Export PNG for screens and SVG for print. SVG rescales without loss, so the same code works on a business card and on a warehouse sign.
Frequently asked questions
What is a dynamic QR code?
A dynamic QR code encodes a short redirect URL served by QRCode Suite. The actual destination is stored in your workspace and can be changed at any time, so you can update where a printed QR code points without reprinting it.
How many dynamic QR codes can I create?
The Free plan includes 3 dynamic QR codes. Pro and above include unlimited dynamic QR codes. Static QR codes never count against the limit.
What is a conditional redirect?
A conditional redirect sends scanners to different destinations based on rules — such as device type (iOS vs Android), country, time of day, or scan count. Conditional redirects are available on the Pro plan.
What formats can I export QR codes in?
All plans support PNG and SVG export. Pro adds CSV data export. Business adds XLSX export, branded PDF reports, and bulk generation with CSV import.
Can I add a logo or custom colors to my QR codes?
Yes, on Pro and above. Custom logo embedding, gradients and frames are part of the Pro design toolkit; the Free plan uses standard colours.
Print the code once, change the document later
The address behind the code is yours to edit at any time.
