App Store QR code
App Download QR codes are part of the Pro plan (€9 per month).
The right store per device
The redirect reads the scanning device: an iPhone or iPad is sent to your App Store link, an Android phone to your Google Play link. Nobody lands on a store their device cannot install from, and the decision happens at scan time, not print time.
A fallback for everything else
Desktop browsers and unrecognised devices go to a fallback URL you set — typically the app’s landing page. If no fallback is configured, the scan falls through to the first store link you did provide, so the code never dead-ends.
Fix the links after printing
The code is dynamic: store URLs live in the dashboard, not in the printed pattern. A renamed App Store listing, a new bundle or a region-specific page can be swapped in without touching the posters already on the wall.
See the iOS / Android split
Every scan is recorded with device type and country, from a hashed IP with bot traffic excluded. The analytics show how many scanners were on iOS versus Android per code — useful when deciding where the next release’s effort goes.
Know the limits
We count scans, not installs. Neither Apple nor Google reports to third parties which install came from which link, so install numbers stay in App Store Connect and the Play Console. At least one store URL is required, and the code links to your listing — it does not create or verify it.
Frequently asked questions
What is a dynamic QR code?
A dynamic QR code encodes a short redirect URL served by QRCode Suite. The actual destination is stored in your workspace and can be changed at any time, so you can update where a printed QR code points without reprinting it.
How many dynamic QR codes can I create?
The Free plan includes 3 dynamic QR codes. Pro and above include unlimited dynamic QR codes. Static QR codes never count against the limit.
What is a conditional redirect?
A conditional redirect sends scanners to different destinations based on rules — such as device type (iOS vs Android), country, time of day, or scan count. Conditional redirects are available on the Pro plan.
What formats can I export QR codes in?
All plans support PNG and SVG export. Pro adds CSV data export. Business adds XLSX export, branded PDF reports, and bulk generation with CSV import.
Can I add a logo or custom colors to my QR codes?
Yes, on Pro and above. Custom logo embedding, gradients and frames are part of the Pro design toolkit; the Free plan uses standard colours.
One code for both stores
The scan decides: App Store on iPhone, Google Play on Android.
