How to Create a WooCommerce Product QR Code

QRCode Suite integrates directly with WooCommerce to generate per-product QR codes from the product edit screen. Combined with WooCommerce order attribution, each product QR code tracks scans and connects them to completed purchases — giving you revenue data per printed QR code. This guide covers setup, generation, and attribution configuration.

    Ensure WooCommerce and QRCode Suite (Pro) are active

    WooCommerce product QR codes require WooCommerce to be installed and active, and a QRCode Suite Pro or higher license. Verify both are active under Plugins.

    Open a product in the WooCommerce product editor

    Go to Products in the WordPress admin and open any product you want to generate a QR code for. You will find the QRCode Suite panel in the product meta box area below the main editor.

    Generate the product QR code

    In the QRCode Suite panel, click "Generate QR Code for this product." QRCode Suite creates a dynamic QR code linked to this product's page URL and associates it with the product ID for attribution tracking.

    Download and print

    Click "Download PNG" or "Download SVG" to export the QR code. SVG is recommended for product packaging and printed materials. The code scans directly to the WooCommerce product page.

    Enable WooCommerce attribution

    To track revenue from product QR scans, go to QR Suite › Settings › WooCommerce and enable order attribution. When a customer scans the product QR and completes a purchase, the order is linked to that QR code in your analytics.

    View product QR analytics

    Open the QR code in QR Suite › QR Codes to see scan count, device breakdown, and — if attribution is enabled — associated orders and revenue from product QR scans.
